This month Jackson has decided to talk and talk and talk and talk. He says lots of words, and repeats a lot of things you say. Most times he says the end of words which I think is rare. For example he says ock for block, ack for snack. It is really interesting because the other babies we know do the opposite.
We have set up a playroom for him now and I love it, probably more than he does. It is so nice to be able to take a shower, or put in some laundry without worrying about what he is into. He's pretty good about playing by himself until he figures out he's by himself. Ha Ha!
He can feed himself now, but since his molars have started coming in(for about a week and a half now), he is back to mostly eating pureed food, so only practices with soft snacks like fruit bars, Mum Mums, puffs and such. He has 10 teeth so far.
He loves chasing the dogs, looking out the windows, and walking with the help of your two fingers. Oh and he will let you know if your fingers are not just exactly where he wants them. It is so funny, if you try to get him to scale furniture with one hand and he wants to just hold you, he whines, balls up one fist and hits his leg. Then as soon as you give him your finger back, instant smile and he takes off again. Funniest thing Ever!
He is a very happy baby, still always smiling and loves people. I keep waiting for the shy stage to kick in but not yet. He loves being around his friends. He is very content to just watch them and will smile or clap for them if they do a good job. He does get upset when they crawl over him (which happens a lot since he is usually the youngest and definitely the slowest).
Only one more month and its on to counting the years instead of the months.....CRAZY FAST!

ReplyDeleteOh, we miss him! And you and Ryan too of course :)! The kids ask when you are coming to stay again with Jackson or when we can go there. We may have to start planning a trip soon so we can see all the cute things he does. Love you guys!
